In this series we map the cultural landscape, from music and dance to film and cooking. Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer returns to the Herbst to discuss Making Our Democracy Work. Tony-winning actress and singer Patti LuPone is our guest for an evening of conversation. Lady Antonia Fraser talks about her life with her late husband, the playwright Harold Pinter. Mark Bittman and Ruth Reichl talk about food matters. KQED’s Michael Krasny and author Tobias Wolff share thoughts on faith. Journalists Michael Lewis and Bill Bryson discuss their  careers. Finally, filmmaker and writer Nora Ephron joins us for a special event marking the publication of her newest book I Remember Nothing.
